Appell für humanitäre Hilfe im Ukraine-Konflikt
Der Aufruf erfolgte zum Abschluss der Europäischen Konferenz der Internationalen Ärzte für die Verhütung des Atomkriegs (Friedensnobelpreis 1085) vom 11. bis 13. September 2015 in Belgrad.
In der thematischen Sondersitzung wurde daran erinnert, dass die ukrainische Regierung seit Juni die Blockade in der Donbass-Region verschärft hat, was dazu führt, dass keine humanitäre Hilfe mehr ankommt. In ihrem Bericht berichtete die OSZE bereits im Mai, dass sich die Menschen in Kellern verstecken, ohne Wasser, Nahrung oder notwendige Medikamente. Krankenhäuser wie in Krasnodon haben keinen Sauerstoff und keine Narkosemittel, um die notwendigen Operationen durchzuführen, und keine Medikamente für chronisch Kranke, z. B. Diabetiker, usw.
5 Millionen Menschen in der Ostukraine sind auf humanitäre Hilfe angewiesen. Nach Angaben der UNO sind mehr als 260.000 Ukrainer Flüchtlinge in ihrem eigenen Land. 94 % von ihnen haben in den Gebieten um Donezk, Charkiw und Kiew Zuflucht gesucht, während über 800.000 bereits nach Russland ausgewandert sind.
Ein ukrainischer Arzt und ein freiberuflicher Journalist sprachen auf der Konferenz und beschrieben die tragische Lage der Zivilbevölkerung, insbesondere der Kinder, und waren sich einig, dass die Menschen des Krieges überdrüssig sind.

Anlässlich der europäischen IPPNW-Konferenz in Belgrad. Nach den jüngsten Aussagen von Menschen, die direkt von der Krise in der Ostukraine betroffen sind
Wir, Ärzte und studentische Delegierte aus 15 europäischen Staaten, wenden uns an Sie, um unser Entsetzen und unsere Abscheu über die unmenschlichen Bedingungen und die tragischen Auswirkungen auf die Zivilbevölkerung, insbesondere auf die Kinder, die physische und psychische Traumata erleiden, zum Ausdruck zu bringen.
Wir appellieren an Sie, über alle politischen Erwägungen hinweg alles zu tun, was möglich ist, und auch an die Beteiligten, alles zu tun, um die im Januar 2015 gegen Donezk verhängte wirtschaftliche und humanitäre Blockade aufzuheben.
Wir fordern Sie auf, der Zivilbevölkerung den Zugang zu allen Gesundheitseinrichtungen zu garantieren und die Durchreise von Zivilisten durch die Kontrollpunkte aus humanitären Gründen zu erleichtern.
Wir fordern Sie außerdem dringend auf, dafür zu sorgen, dass alle humanitären Missionen aller Staaten, internationaler Organisationen und NRO, einschließlich der russischen und ukrainischen, die Kontrollpunkte ungehindert passieren können, wenn sie humanitäre Hilfe für die betroffene Zivilbevölkerung transportieren.
Wir wenden uns an Sie, die Entscheidungsträger und die internationale Organisation, wir, die Ärzte der IPPNW, und erinnern Sie respektvoll an die moralischen Werte, auf denen das Zusammenleben in Europa beruht. Wir halten es für wichtig, alle Beteiligten daran zu erinnern, dass sowohl die UN-Erklärung als auch die Europäische Menschenrechtskonvention nach wie vor die Grundlage jeder Politikgestaltung bilden. Diese Grundsätze werden die Rückkehr zu einem friedlichen Zusammenleben in Europa erleichtern.

Es ist gut, dass wir jetzt Übersetzungssysteme wie Deep haben und uns gegenseitig besser verstehen können.

Das Verrückte ist, dass unsere Regierung JETZT beschlossen hat, Bulgarien EU-Gelder zu geben, um ein neues Kernkraftwerk im historisch problematischen Kozlodui!!!!! zu eröffnen und in Araxos die Anlage zur Aufnahme von US-Atomwaffen fertigzustellen (Griechenland war seit 2001 frei davon).

Appeal for humanitarian relief in the Ukraine conflict
The call was made at the end of the European Conference of the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War (Nobel Peace Prize 1085) 11-13/9/2015 in Belgrade
In the special thematic session it was recalled that the Ukrainian government since June has hardened the blockade in the Donbass region, resulting in no humanitarian aid getting through. In its report the OSCE already in May reported that people were hiding in basements without water, food or necessary medicines. Hospitals such as in Krasnodon have no oxygen and anaesthetics to carry out the necessary operations, and no medicines for the chronically ill, e.g. diabetics, etc.
5 million people in eastern Ukraine depend on humanitarian aid. According to the UN, more than 260,000 Ukrainians are refugees in their own country. 94% of them have taken refuge in the areas around Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Kiev while over 800,000 have already migrated to Russia.
A Ukrainian doctor and a freelance journalist spoke at the conference and described the tragic situation of civilians, especially children, and agreed that people are tired of the war.

On the occasion of the IPPNW European Conference in Belgrade. After hearing recent testimonies from people directly affected by the crisis in eastern Ukraine
We, doctors and student delegates from 15 European states, are addressing you to express our shock and disgust at the inhumane conditions and the tragic impact on the civilian population, especially on the children who are suffering physical and psychological trauma.
We appeal to you to do everything possible above any political considerations and also to those involved to do everything possible to lift the economic and humanitarian blockade imposed on Donetsk in January 2015.
We call on you to guarantee access to all health facilities for civilians and to facilitate the passage of civilians through checkpoints for humanitarian reasons.
We also urge you to ensure that all humanitarian missions, from all States, international organisations and NGOs including both Russian and Ukrainian, have free passage through the checkpoints when carrying humanitarian aid for the affected civilian population.
We address you, the decision-makers and the International Organization, we, the doctors members of IPPNW, and respectfully remind you of the moral values on which coexistence in Europe is based. We feel it is important to remind all concerned that both the UN Declaration and the European Convention on Human Rights remain the foundations of all policy making. These principles will make it easier to return to peaceful coexistence in Europe.

The crazy thing is that NOW our government decided to give EU money to Bulgaria in order to open new nuclear plant in the historically problematic Kozlodui!!!!! and finished in Araxos base the installation to host USA nuclear weapons (Greece was free of them since 2001)

Έκκληση για ανθρωπιστική ανακούφιση στη σύγκρουση της Ουκρανίας
Η οποία διατυπώθηκε στο τέλος του Ευρωπαϊκού συνεδρίου της International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War (Νόμπελ Ειρήνης 1085) 11-13/9/2015 στο Βελιγράδι
Στην ειδική θεματική ενότητα υπενθυμίστηκε ότι η ουκρανική κυβέρνηση από τον Ιούνιο έχει σκληρύνει τον αποκλεισμό στην περιοχή του Donbass με αποτέλεσμα να μην περνά καθόλου ανθρωπιστική βοήθεια. Στην αναφορά του OSCE ήδη από το Μάιο ανέφερε ότι οι άνθρωποι κρυβόντουσαν σε υπόγεια χωρίς νερό, τροφή ή τα αναγκαία φάρμακα. Τα νοσοκομεία όπως στο Krasnodon, δεν έχουν Οξυγόνο και αναισθητικά για να πραγματοποιούν τια αναγκαίες εγχειρήσεις, αλλά ούτε και φαρμακα για χρονίως πάσχοντες πχ διαβητικούς κλπ.
5.000.000 άνθρωποι στην ανατολική Ουκρανία εξαρτώνται από την ανθρωπιστική βοήθεια. Σύμφωνα με τον ΟΗΕ πανω από 260.000 ουκρανοί είναι πρόσφυγες στην ίδια τους τη χώρα. 94% από αυτούς έχουν καταφύγει στις περιοχές γύρω από το Donesc, Charkiv, και Kiev ενώ πάνω από 800.000 ήδη μετανάστευσαν στη Ρωσία.
Στο συνέδριο μίλησαν μια ουκρανή γιατρός και μια ανεξάρτητη δημοσιογράφος και περιέγραψαν την τραγική κατάσταση των αμάχων και ειδικά των παιδιών, ενώ συμφώνησαν ότι ο κόσμος έχει κουραστεί από τον πόλεμο.

Με την ευκαιρία του Ευρωπαϊκού Συνεδρίου της IPPNW στο Βελιγράδι. Αφού ακούσαμε πρόσφατες μαρτυρίες από ανθρώπους που επηρεάζονται άμεσα από την κρίση στην ανατολική Ουκρανία
Εμείς, οι γιατροί και φοιτητές αντιπρόσωποι από 15 ευρωπαϊκά κράτη, απευθυνόμαστε σε σας για να εκφράσουμε το σοκ και τον αποτροπιασμό μας για τις απάνθρωπες συνθήκες και τις τραγικές επιπτώσεις στον άμαχο πληθυσμό και ειδικά στα παιδιά που υφίστανται σωματικά και ψυχολογικά τραύματα.
Απευθυνόμαστε σε σας να κάνετε ότι είναι δυνατόν πάνω από κάθε πολιτική θεώρηση και επίσης οι εμπλεκόμενοι να κάνουν ότι είναι δυνατόν ώστε να αρθεί ο οικονομικός και ανθρωπιστικός αποκλεισμός ο οποίος επεβλήθη στο Ντονέσκ τον Ιανουάριο του 2015.
Σας καλούμε να εγγυηθείτε την πρόσβαση σε όλες τις παροχές υγείας για τους αμάχους και τη διευκόλυνση διόδου των πολιτών από τα σημεία ελέγχου για ανθρωπιστικούς λόγους.
Επίσης σας ζητάμε μετ’ επιτάσεως να βεβαιώσετε ότι όλες οι ανθρωπιστικές αποστολές, από όλα τα κράτη, διεθνείς οργανισμούς και ΜΚΟ συμπεριλαμβανόμενων τόσο των ρωσικών όσο και των ουκρανικών, θα έχουν ελεύθερη δίοδο από τα σημεία ελέγχου όταν μεταφέρουν ανθρωπιστική βοήθεια για τον πληγέντα άμαχο πληθυσμό.
Απευθυνόμαστε σε σας, τους ανθρώπους που παίρνουν αποφάσεις και το Διεθνή Οργανισμό εμείς οι γιατροί μέλη της IPPNW και με σεβασμό σας θυμίζουμε τις ηθικές αξίες στις οποίες η συνύπαρξη στην Ευρώπη βασίζεται. Αισθανόμαστε ότι είναι σημαντικό να υπενθυμίσουμε σε όλους τους εμπλεκόμενους ότι τόσο η Διακήρυξη του ΟΗΕ όσο και η Ευρωπαϊκή σύμβαση για τα ανθρώπινα δικαιώματα παραμένουν τα θεμέλια διαμόρφωσης κάθε πολιτικής. Αυτές οι αρχές θα διευκολύνουν να επιστρέψουμε σε μιαν ειρηνική συνύπαρξη στην Ευρώπη
